Boys' Mandarin Collared Shirt

This pattern makes a boy’s short sleeved yoked shirt with a mandarin collar, also known as a stand collar. This pattern is a good introduction to proper collared shirt construction.

The French placket for the front is a classic shirt style that gives the shirt a simple and modern look. Use patterned fabric for the under collar or topstitching in a contrast colour to give this shirt a unique touch!
