What you will make: 

The Olivia Crossover Pants combine a clean, tailored front with the comfort of an elasticated waistband.

Designed to sit at the natural waist, Olivia features an asymmetrical crossover front waistband secured with a button and hook-and-bar closure, so there is no zip to install. The back waistband is elasticated for added comfort and flexibility, while front pleats create ease through the hips and subtle volume through the wide leg.

Finished with functional in-seam side pockets, Olivia is an easy-to-wear pair of pants that can look relaxed or polished depending on your choice of fabric.

Patterns for hip size 86cm to 110cm are available. (Please get in touch with us first prior to registration if your measurements do not fit the hip size above.)

• Creating buttonhole and sewing putting

Suitable for:  Anyone who loves and/or wants to learn how to sew. Perfect for beginners.

Things You Need to Bring Along:

• 1.5" / 38 mm wide elastic
• Fusible interfacing
• Button, approximately 15–20 mm
• 1 hook-and-bar set
  (A second set may be added for additional stability.)
• Matching thread
• 3 yards of fabric (Recommended: Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics with enough drape to create the intended fluid wide-leg silhouette.)

Please bring additional fabric if your print requires pattern matching or directional placement. 

All other sewing tools & equipment will be provided at the class. 

A soft copy of the pattern (with all sizes) will also be emailed to you after the class.
