Nila Folded Sarong Skirt
Sew your own modern sarong-inspired skirt with the Nila Folded Sarong Skirt PDF sewing pattern.
Designed to pair beautifully with a kebaya or to be worn as an everyday skirt, Nila combines the graceful look of a traditional wrapped sarong with the practicality and comfort of a modern fitted skirt.
The distinctive folded front creates the appearance of a wrapped sarong while staying securely in place. A clean flat front waistband keeps the silhouette neat, while the elasticised back provides comfort and flexibility. The skirt also includes an invisible side zip and optional functional in-seam side pockets.
Designed especially for batik and other stable woven fabrics, Nila is a beginner-friendly project with detailed photo instructions to guide you through the folded front, pockets, invisible zip and elasticated waistband construction.
